Santa Carla Dreams Enameled Basket Dangle Earrings

• Enameled component hangs from sterling silver
• Measures ~2.5" from top to bottom

I create these pieces by layering vibrant powdered glass, known as vitreous enamel, onto a base of copper or steel. I then fire the pieces at approximately 1,450 degrees using either a torch or a kiln, depending on the piece and my mood. Afterward, I carefully stencil my hand-drawn patterns onto the pieces using enamel and fire again. These enameled components hang from sterling silver wire creating a unique basket shape. 

The Santa Carla Dreams Collection is my tribute to the vibrant colors and eclectic patterns inspired by Corey Haim's character in The Lost Boys (1987).

Please note: that while enamel is durable, it can chip or crack if dropped or struck against a hard surface. With proper care, however, these pieces can remain beautiful for years to come!
