Enameled Confetti Dot Post Earrings

These enameled components hang from my handmade sterling silver dot posts that have a textured finish. The enameled component can swing freely back and forth giving them nice movement for a post earring. They come with sterling silver post clutches.

I create these pieces by layering vibrant powdered glass, known as vitreous enamel, onto a base of copper or steel. I then fire the pieces at approximately 1,450 degrees using either a torch or a kiln, depending on the piece and my mood. 

Please note: that while enamel is durable, it can chip or crack if dropped or struck against a hard surface. With proper care, however, these pieces can remain beautiful for years to come!
